Homelessness - In January 2024, the national homeless rate in the U.S. was approximately 23 people per 10,000, or roughly 0.23% of the population, representing a record-high of 771,480 people experiencing homelessness on a single night. This was an 18% increase from the previous year. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) conducts an annual count of homeless individuals in shelters and on the street on a single night in the winter. A shortage of affordable housing and increasing rent prices are major factors in the rising homelessness numbers.
We have evaluated the need for extended community help resources. The support we provide is make an impact on the reduction of homelessness and a positive comeback for affordable housing. The purpose for these initiatives is to assist the less fortunate and direct them back to a place where they feel appreciated and respected. These achievements maybe short or long-term goals that may result in permanent housing.
